Indigenous End-of-Life & Transition Support
A grounded, welcoming space for life’s final transition.
Coming Winter 2027 to Aski Balance
A sacred new offering is being lovingly prepared through Aski Balance.
Beginning Winter 2027, Aski Balance will offer Indigenous End-of-Life & Transition Support. after completion of the End of Life Support Worker Certificate.
This offering is being created for life’s final transition...Serious illness, dying, and grief can hold a lot at once. There can be love, fear, uncertainty, exhaustion, memories, questions, and moments that are hard to put into words.
This future service will be offered exclusively through Aski Balance by a First Nations woman, Reiki Master, and Energy Healer, rooted in Indigenous wellness, Reiki energy healing, comfort, consent, cultural safety, and deep respect for the body and spirit.
This is not rushed care.
This is not clinical coldness.
This is not one-size-fits-all support.
This is soft care.
Earth care.
Spirit-led care.
Heart-centred care for the ones who give life.
Indigenous End-of-Life & Transition Support
A grounded, welcoming space for life’s final transition.
Serious illness, dying, and grief can hold a lot at once. There can be love, fear, uncertainty, exhaustion, memories, questions, and moments that are hard to put into words.
This is a space to slow down, feel supported, and be cared for in a way that feels right for you and your family.
I am completing the Indigenous End of Life Support Worker Certificate, through the Northern Campus of First Nations University of Canada. My learning includes Indigenous health, traditional end-of-life care, grief and loss, advocacy, communication, family-centred care, and hands-on practicum learning in community, hospice, and palliative-care settings. The program identifies End of Life Doula as one potential career pathway.
As I continue this training, I will be moving into Indigenous End-of-Life Support Worker and End-of-Life Doula work through Aski Balance.
What support can look like
I can walk alongside you and your family through serious illness, end-of-life, death, and the grief that can come before and after.
This may look like:
Future Services May Include:
- Making room to talk about fears, wishes, memories, questions, and what matters most
- Offering a calm, caring presence for the person who is dying and the people around them
- Helping you feel supported when communicating with healthcare teams and loved ones
- Supporting families as roles change and difficult conversations arise
- Creating space for cultural practices, ceremony, spiritual care, and connection when wanted
- Offering grounding, breath, relaxation, and gentle support during stressful or emotional moments
- Helping connect you with hospice, palliative care, grief, healthcare, or community supports when needed
Partners, family members, friends, and chosen support people are welcome too. End-of-life care touches many people, and no one should have to carry it alone.
There is no one right way to die, grieve, or say goodbye.
Additional support, when wanted.
Aski Balance offers different forms of holistic wellness that can be gently woven into your support when they feel right for you.
This may include gentle Reiki, grounding, breathwork, guided relaxation or meditation, gentle sound support when appropriate, and spiritual or energy-based support when wanted.
Nothing has to be included. Some people may want energy work or spiritual support, while others may simply want a calm person beside them. The care can meet you where you are.
This is not about telling anyone how their final days should look. It is about being beside people through an important transition and helping them feel supported in the way that they need.
**Beginning Spring 2027, this work will become part of Aski Balance, a grounded space for final transitions, grieving families, and all that comes with the closing of life..**
Gentle note:
End-of-life support through Aski Balance is non-medical and does not replace medical, nursing, counselling, hospice, palliative, or emergency care. It is there to support individuals and families alongside their physician, nurse, palliative-care or hospice team, Elders, Knowledge Keepers, and other chosen supports. Medical questions, treatment, clinical decisions, and urgent needs remain with qualified healthcare professionals and emergency services

What our clients are saying...
“She picked up on where my pain was before I even mentioned it. I had a bad ear infection I was trying to avoid going to the doctor for, and after one session, my head and ears cleared right up, no meds needed.”
